Meet the Team

  • Fernando Peire
    Director

    Fernando Peire was educated at The Latymer School in London and at Manchester University. Fernando joined the board of Caprice Holdings in March 2007 and is Director of the Ivy Restaurant and The Club at The Ivy. He joined the Ivy in 1990 as Senior Maitre d.
     
    Fernando recorded two television series of The Restaurant Inspector with Fresh One Productions. Fernando started drying dishes in a restaurant when he was sixteen; he still clears the odd table now.

  • Adam Sutton
    Head Chef

    At sixteen, Adam took an apprenticeship in the kitchens of The United Oxford and Cambridge University Club in Pall Mall London, where he was heavily influenced by Head Chef, Ted McGee and Sous Chef, Stuart Littlejohn.
     
    In 2002, he joined The Ivy team as Demi Chef de Partie and worked his way up to Senior Sous Chef, working under Executive Chef, Gary Lee. In April 2013, Adam was promoted to Head Chef at The Club at The Ivy.

  • Rob Pinder
    Operations Manager

    Prior to joining the team at The Club, Rob worked in a cosy country pub, The Ham and Eggery, in Stafford.  It was at this point Rob realised his passion for the hospitality industry and moved to Gee’s restaurant in Oxford.
     
    Rob moved to London and joined The Club for the opening in 2008. Rob was promoted to Club Manager in 2011 and Joint General Manager in 2015, followed by Operations Manager in early 2017.

  • Cas Oh
    Bar Manager

    Cas Oh has over 15 years experience in the business and has helmed the bar operations at famed establishments including the Groucho Club and the Hospital Club, before joining The Club at The Ivy as it opened in 2008.
     
    With a predilection for whisky and classic cocktails, Cas can usually be seen holding a glass of Mr Walker's amber restorative.  

  • Iryna Kolomiyets
    General Manager (Front of House)

    Iryna, moved to London from Ukraine in 2001 and started working as a junior waiter at Daphne's in South Kensington. After a few years working her way through the industry, Iryna returned to Caprice Holdings in 2008 and was promoted to Assistant General Manager (Front of House) in 2012.

  • Gaurav Raje
    Club Manager (Front of house)

    Gaurav worked for Gordon Ramsay restaurant for two years before joining The Club at The Ivy. Prior to that he worked for the Sheraton Group and has a BSc (Hons) in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Sunderland.
     
    Gaurav recently became a father and is already planning to train his son, Dhruv, how to be the next Sachin Tendulkar. 

  • Marie-Claire Byrne
    Club Manager

    Marie-Claire has 12 years of experience within the hospitality industry.
    Before and after finishing a degree in Music Management she had helped to open restaurants in Singapore, Bali and Sardinia. Marie-Claire has worked for the Soho House and Waney Groups amongst others, before joining The Club in 2011, where she was promoted to Reception Manager in 2012 and Club Manager in 2015.
     
    Marie-Claire has a mean badminton backhand and a rather impressive trainer collection.

  • Emily Garbett
    Membership Manager

    Emily graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in International Hospitality Management. During her time at university Emily completed a placement year at Lancaster London Hotel as a Food and Beverage Assistant rotating through several departments from events to restaurants.
     
    After finishing her degree, Emily joined the team at The Club at The Ivy in August 2014 as Membership Secretary before becoming Membership Manager in June 2016.
     
    Emily enjoys all forms of rose, by the glass or bottle.

  • Jess Fraser
    Member Events Manager

    Jess was born and riased in Lismore, a historical, rural town in Ireland. She moved to Dublin at the age of 18 to study Communication and Media studies in Dublin City University, where she graduated with a 2:1 BA Honours Degree and a 1:1 in Radio Production.
     
    Jess soon grew tired of life on the Emerald Isle and decided to move to London in June 2014, after being offered a summer internship with Red Bull and worked with their events team for the next four months.
     
    After successfully completing an events and marketing internship, Jess began working in Selfridges as a Head of Sales/Brand Specialist. It soon became evident that numbers weren't her thing so she applied for a position within Caprice Holdings. Jess joined the team at The Club in May 2015 as the Office and Events Assistant and as of September 2017 is now head of Member Events.
     
    In her spare time Jess can be found in yoga classes and hopes to become a fully qualified teacher within the next year.
     
     
        

  • Louise Leverett
    Reception Manager

    Louise joined the Club at the Ivy team six years ago and has recently been promoted to Reception Manager. After studying in both London and New York she decided to make London her full time home. She enjoys spending her time reading, travelling to European Cities and writing her first novel, which she is currently working on.

  • Ellena Stacey
    Receptionist

    Since graduating from drama school - The Poor School in 2006, Ellena has worked in various restaurants including Sumosan, E&O and Great Eastern Dining Rooms. After initially joining the reception team in 2011, she went to Australia for a stint, but even the hot weather and "shrimps on the barbie" couldn't keep her away from London.
     
    She returned to the Ivy team and now works across both The Club and The Ivy on the desk. Ellena continues to write and perform and has a penchant for strong cheeses, wine and has a vast armoury of accents.

  • Montechristos Kastros
    Duty Manager

    Having previously served in the army, Monte began working in hospitality in 2004. He worked in numerous restaurants, beach bars and hotels, displaying his passion for food. Monte spent some time working as a head waiter in a restaurant in his hometown Thessaloniki, in Greece, before moving to London in April 2013.
    Monte joined The Club at The Ivy in May 2013 as a waiter before being promoted to Duty Manager in April 2015.
    Monte's dream was to become a professional dancer or a volleyball player.

  • Sam Evans
    Duty Manager

    Originally from Portsmouth, Sam moved to London in 2015 with 6 years of hospitality experience under his belt, after being offered a role at the Club at the Ivy. 
     
    Having managed student bars with capacities of 1,000, and working as Bar Manager at Naval base HMS Collingwood in Portsmouth, Sam decided it was time to steer away from bars and nightclubs and head for a career in high-end hospitality, and he knew London was where he needed to be.  
     
    After only working at the Club for a year and a half, Sam impressively rose through the ranks from floor waiter to Duty Manager. 
     
    Sam is well known for his friendly demeanor and his love for funk and soul music. You will often find him blaring out Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and other classic Motown hits, and wonder whether he was born in the wrong decade!

  • Oscar Skinner
    Duty Manager

    Although born in England, Oscar was raised for most of his life in the Bordeaux region of France. He attended the Lycee de Perigueux to study landscape design where he found his main focus in modern garden design. In 2013, Oscar returned to England alongside his brother and the duo began their hospitality careers at The Club at the Ivy.
     
    Whilst maintaining his landscaping interests by taking on local gardening jobs in North London, Oscar rose through the ranks from commis to become Duty Manager in October 2015.
